Re: Imperium Romanum - part I: the Rise
Please note that with your Virtus of 9, you have +180 FP. Divided into 3 battles yields +60 in each. And then allowing the defender to choose map terrain granting your +40 in each, totalling +100 FP in each of the three battles:Aetius39 wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 11:26 am 3 battles!

Roman victory 9-41.
Numidian tryed to harass roman but the numidian allies of roman was a great addon to help legion to reach numidian mediums. After that Legion was way to strong for the brave desert people...
Re: Imperium Romanum - part I: the Rise
Aetius (Romans) defeats Doyley50 (Gauls) 40-2
Gauls were on a hill with a lot of cavalry ready for the flank. Luckily there was enough rough to slow down the cavalry and the Gauls were unlucky enough to have a lot of their units crack fairly early. GG!

Doyley50 (Gallic Hill Tribes) defeats kronenblatt (Romans 199-106) 48-21.
I think a lot of luck and the hilly terrain were the key to victory.

2. Deeter attacks Doyley50 in Apulia with Roman 199-106 army and 5 virtus points.
Deeter defeats Doyley50 67-46. I was able to surround and destroy Doyley's scary Soldurii, but some remarkably successful enemy cavalry charges exacted some serious revenge, making this a less-than-optimal outcome. Good game!

What can I say? Being outnumbered by Romans is never a good thing.
