Ever Green Leagues
I like the format of the EGLs and would like them to continue or something to replace them. Especially I like that they don't run to a timetable which means they don't have to be completed quickly. Thanks Kronenblatt for running them, and doing so much other work to run tournaments.
If there are others who feel the same way I would be happy to take over admin. I'm pretty new to this forum but I have commissioned NFL fantasy football leagues, and about 20 years ago moderated the DBM List on Yahoo groups, so I'm capable and reliable.
I've exchanged PMs with Kronenblatt and post this with his blessing.

Yes it is a good format for adhoc play and it would be great if the format could continue so I would be very grateful if you took the admin over...

It seems like a good idea to me

+1. What I like is that the social side is emphasized or the competitive.

+1 I like this format. New army each game , friendly and good opponents. Happy if someone keep EGL alive.

Re: Ever Green Leagues
Kronenblatt has given me editing access to the EGL google sheets, thank you.
At this stage new challenges can resume and tonight I will check that scores are up to date. Later I will think about updating or replacing the tournament threads.
This is also an opportunity to make changes. If anyone has suggestions please post them below

Re: Ever Green Leagues
My suggestion for a change is to have one tournament that doesn't require DLC to join; to use as an entry level competition. That's what I was looking for when I came to this forum

Thanks for your offer, I would be very sad to see the EGL go.

Re: Ever Green Leagues
I think the DLCs add a lot of richness and variety to the game, I would try to keep it as it is. However, you can think of creating another league in another format, now TDC is over and there will be players wanting to play.angusosborne wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 6:55 am My suggestion for a change is to have one tournament that doesn't require DLC to join; to use as an entry level competition. Re: Ever Green Leagues
I have enjoyed this league with its opportunity to try a new army with each game. As a result of its format, I have gained an introduction to many armies I would not have considered otherwise and I hope to be able to continue to play in either its currently relaxed (more social) or a more competitive structure.
Re: Ever Green Leagues
It would be great to see the EGL continue.
I'll certainly continue to play 300BC and 900AD.
The slower pace and chat are the best features for me.
Regards Stew.
