--- Update info. 7/14/22 ---

:arrow:Greetings PzKrps Community, after making several attempts to create a mod attached to the historical reality of the events of WWII, we have not been able to structure it with such fidelity.
Reasons such as the scale of the maps, size of the units and other factors that do not allow us to execute the desired ideas.
- So we have chosen and decided to create a mod based on a story where the protagonist is you in command of a newly formed Armeekorps, called the XXIX Le, which in principle will be a unit without much value and that over time is gaining relevance until becoming approximately a panzer army and its participation as the tip of the spear in future operations will be decisive for Germany.

- Simulate the responsibility of a commander at the head of an ArmeeKorps or PanzerKorps.
- Simulate transportation logistics and urgent needs to complete objectives.
- Face new challenges.
- According to history, the German army relied on horses to transport military equipment because motorized vehicles were in short supply (and that's what I want to reflect).

We use ideas and material from almost all the mods published on this forum and from other pages, it would be quite difficult for me to create a detailed list of all the plugins used for the structure of XXIX Le Mod.

*- I think this part will be the most important of the whole project, it is the edition of all the scenarios of the DLC GC 1939 to 1945.
I will add new units, I will give new orders, I will place ambushes, the AI will think differently.

:? Dark Cloud or Cloud of War [smoothFoW.png] in scenarios, this forces the user to rely on reconnaissance units to advance and if you want to explore the map you can use the strategic map option where all units and positions are visible enemies that are in sight.

- :arrow: Update 7/14/22 -- Regular infantry is a Regiment, then everything else is Battalions, Batteries, companies, sections, platoons, etc, etc.

[ DLC GC 39 - POLAND ]

*- Poznan : Taking the Polish troops by surprise, rapid advance, capture of the government building in Poznan and the fall of the city of Konin.

*- Danzig Corridor North : Sealing off the north corridor.
Polish troops try to stop the rapid advance of the Wehrmacht, protecting all available bridges and crossings.
- Note: Quite complicated in (GENERAL and FIELD MARSHAL) Time against is the worst enemy.

*- Lodz : Crushing the defenses of Lodz
Epic battle for the airfield and the train station, your advance is stopped dead.

*- Piatek: Counterattack of the Polish armies in the Poznań region.
- You will need reinforcements to contain the Polish onslaught.

*- Wyszogrod : Closing the gap.
You will need to move quickly to pocket the remnant of the Poznan armies, the Poles can still hurt you.

*- Kampinoska Forest: Retaking the Blitzkrieg
- sweeping everything in front of you.

*- Modlin: The last defense before Warsaw
A weakened remnant will try to slow the advance towards what is inevitable, the Polish capital, but first you must defeat the imposing Bunkers in Modlin.

*- Warsaw North: Street by street, house by house, the Poles will defend their capital, what remains of the Polish air force will advance against your troops.
GC 39 DLC Finished.

:arrow: The other scenarios become part of the DLC GC 1940 and the fall of France.

Here we start the invasion of France
*- Sedan.
*- We head south and arrive at Stonne.
*- We continue further south and secure that flank by capturing Reims.
*- Then we turn north towards San Quentin, capturing the entire Avesois Park Region in Wassigny.
*- We take Maubeuge.
*- We continue towards Arras eliminating all resistance and closing the gap to the Allies trapped in Belgium.
*- We move quickly towards Calais and trap the allied armies sheltering in Dunkirk.
*- We eliminated the resistance in Dunkirk.
*- We turn to the South to sweep what remains of the Franceces, towards Amiens.
*- We captured Dijon and surrounded the Maginot Line
*- Maginot Line Falls.
*- After we captured the British Channel Islands.
*- We start the Battle of Britain with Eagle Attack.

- Note: Spoils of War ( The Fortress of Brest ) for 1941.

The Panzer corps were changing depending on the year and the situation of the Wehrmacht, it is difficult to keep track of them in the game.

lots of good stuff in your previous mod (volksmod?)
i've done some scenario editng of the DLC's myself - toning down the gift hero values, for one.

have you found any way to stop the AI spamming units at the last victory hex? very annoying. putting "nopurchase" against KV tanks helps a bit.

i've got a few simple scripts written for scenarios that try to take some ideas from the panzer corps 1 wishlist and ideas that made it into panzer corps 2.

happy to share my stuff - saw goose_2's video asking for help developing your project on your behalf.
my equippment file is heavily modified so much so i've lost track of what i've done!

basic observations for balance
some stuff is overpowered in the hands of the player (not the AI) so should be weakened :-
artillery (class 4)
all tac bombers (class 8)

direct fire should do the killing, not stukas and 105mm howitzers!

GD of artillery = 4 GD of AA = 5 otherwise the player destroys the AI with artillery shots without taking any losses

fighters (class 7) are deadly! quick fix ROF=9
prehaps put AD and GD of all planes up by 1

i've implemented class18 for 150mm+ artillery (no defensive fire!)

i've experimented with ROF and max strength(MXS) - bit of a dead end generally but i did come up with this :-
"heavy" units like king tiger, KV1, 150+ artilley have MXS =9 (adjust the price down)
"light" units like 20mm AA, recon have MXS =11 (adjust the price up)
maybe basic infantry should be MXS =11 as well (15! in panzer corps 2) not tried this yet
panzer corps 2 does this well with a new value "slots" - i wish we could use that in pzc1

i've got more ideas that i'll list if i get some encouragement!
i've got a scenario script to make 1 strength units disappear but ONLY 1 strength units
i've got scripts to kinda give a little boost to tanks not as strong as "overrrun" (from panzer general II) and make strategic hill hexes stronger defensively (i'd wish we had the panzer corps 2 automatic bonus for will hexes)
i've got a modified movement file based on someone elses work which gives mild changes making roads a bit more valuable than just charging across clear/countryside like its not a thing.
