Cannot reinforce aircraft

Playing Conquest of America have captured Quebec City & airfield ( and most of New York now) but cannot reifoce bombers or fighters - any ideas why??

Out of stock? What does the tooltip say when you hover over the reinforce icon?

Thanks Virgilinthe Sky It says Unavailable the stock for this equipment is empty. I did wonder if I disbanded one unit whether that would give me some stock to reinforce the other/ However I could not see how to disband an aircraft unit.

That's it then. You used prototype equipment, which has run out of stock, so you can't reinforce them now.
You should be able to disband a unit when they are at the supply hex. But I don't advise doing so since you lose all exp and medal the unit has gained until that. Downgrade them to something else with enough stock will be much better.

Thanks again. Regetably i lost the core? aircraft in an earlier scenario and the prototypes were the only available air units to purchase at the start of this scenario. The upgrade (or downgrade) option is not highligted so I guess they are possibly auxillary units which cannot be reinforced and presumably not upgraded either? In the tradition of most military operations we will just have to muddle through .

Core has a golden ^ above their strength panel, aux does not. But this should not affect whether you are able to reinforce them or not (not sure about upgrading), it's just that you don't have any stock available for reinforcement.

Ahh I see - thanks. Our grand admirial in charge of the Kreigsmarine task force managed to out wit the Ami's and destroyed their navy, for little losses ourselves. This left his fleet with the ability to help the Wermacht forces with targeted shore bombardment so they have captured the east coat of America. So onward ever onward to the final victory.!
