multiplayer connection problems

Post by Kinwolf »

Anyone else having connection problem in the tournament? Since it started, when it's my turn, I have to re-enter my credentials every time. At first I only had to reenter my username, but this morning, I had to reenter both username and password as both were blank.

Also having problem when my turn is done, the upload of my turn fails.

I must have a similar problem.
After several hours of play during Round2, OoB:WWII crashed, perhaps due to memory saturation (hey, yes... I'm still on Win7).
<Ctrl> <Alt> <Delete> to properly clean up the frozen applications then restart the session.
For quite other reasons (family concerns), I couldn't finish the round, hence "Time Out": Dura Lex Sed Lex as the Old Romans said.
It's no big deal.
But since then (10 days ago) I have been systematically sent a blank Error 500 page when I want to access my Multiplayer Profile
other than through Slitherine Main Menu, then <Community/Tournaments/View Scores>.
However, I was able to resume the course of the Tournament normally.

Then ... :?: :?: :?:

Please, does anyone have any advice or a possible solution?

Thank You in advance!

In addition to the various loging/connection issues reported here, this one is for me the most annoying.
You are happy with your turn in the tournament, hit end turn and you are rewarded with this:
Yes, the turn is not uploaded.

Note, however, that over approximately 1800 hours of single-player gaming, this happened only rarely
and less and less with the release of the very latest DLCs, as well as newer versions of the game engine.
In multiplayer, which I've only been using for a few months, it's the opposite... In appearance at least.
Possible causes (IMHO)... Obsolescence of my computer? Local network saturation?
Backlash from events in Eastern Europe? Illuminati conspiracy?

I had the same issues having to enter my username each turn. But now it says that my serial number is not valid. Does that always happen after 1555,5 hours of play or is that a mere coincidence? Cannot play my tournament turn at the moment...

Serial number problem this morning, preventing any PBEM game. I wrote to support, but I do not expect a reply before the tournament ends(in the past, it always took a week before I received any kind of reply). I hope they fix this "serial number" problem asap. :(
