my experience so far in norway mission:
https://youtu.be/OB4Kg0386Fk
am stuck in this goddamn big ass map !
i don't want to save scum, i don't want to lose any unit and i want a decisive victory
a british infantry just killed my Gebirgsjager(8 health) with just 1 blow !!
it seems impossible right now after more than 10 attempts on Field Marshal difficulty

Sendspace is down for maintenance - is there any chance a different host could be used until sendspace comes back up?

I was at work so upping the campaign on a different host was impossible.
Anyway, Sendspace is up and running again.

Re: Panzer General original campaign for PzC (v1.1)(07/01/17)
Panzer Corps 2 is, from the software point of view, a completely different program, sharing only the name with the original Panzer Corps game. So, in general, Panzer Corps modders do not make mods for the newer game. Besides, I think that Pz Corps 2 is not as "mod friendly" as PzCorps original.
Re: Panzer General original campaign for PzC (v1.1)(07/01/17)
PzC2 modding is not complete/finished.
It is impossible to add new models. Requires UnRealEngine Editor. No guides have been provided.
Scripting uses LUA files. Not easy to follow. Requires coding skills, PzC1 scripting does not.
High graphics load of UnRealEngine limit map size. BattleFieldEurope maps would crash the Engine.
PzC2 will required major updates and code optimization to be as 'moddable' as PzC1.

There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

Re: Panzer General original campaign for PzC (v1.1)(07/01/17)
I could give my opinion about PzC2 and modding for PzC2 in a video but it would be full of cursing in Dutch and Polish. So it is wiser to refrain from that.
As long as i cannot create a scenario in the PzC2 editor as easy as in the PzC1 editor with the wonderful set of triggers and scripts, there is no hair on my head that is even going to try.
I don't want to use lua, plain and simple. Plus i can fry an egg and bacon on my laptop after 15 minutes of PzC2. I keep buying the expansions just to support the devs.
PzC2 has some nice improvements, some of which could have been easily implemented in PzC1.
The briefings are nicely done but time consuming to create. The second time i play the same scenario i just do click click click click or simple end the briefing.
The one thing that i like is the extensive equipment file. The kind that PzC1 deserves.
Panzer Corps 1 may be 11 years or so "old" but it still has incredible potential. The feeling i had playing Panzer General and Panzer Corps 1, i have never felt that same excitement in Panzer Corps 2, despite the fact that some scenarios are quite well done.
You can have a good food recipe but it is not always possible to make it even better, or just leave it as it is. And usually, less is more.
