Upgrading units

Hello all
There is something I obviously don't get when it's time to upgrade to better or change whatever unit. I'm playing Panzerkrieg and I'm at the Kharkov scenario, I'm looking at new anti-tank units to purchase or upgrade to. For whatever reason, I used StuG III early and already up to StuG IIG, I didn't have access to any of the marder series who should be available at this time. Got a couples in various scenario as non-core units but was never able to purchase any Marder. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong.

If I remember correctly, one of the specialisations unlock purchase of the Marder series.

Correct, you need the Baukommando Becker spec.

Baukommando Becker is not avalible in Panzerkrieg. It is in Endsieg and Sandstorm.

Too bad, although according to spezialisations.csv this unit would be available from August 1942 onwards
