My opponent mistook the regular stream for a deep stream (tbf perhaps some visual representation of the difference might help on this, I think I lost a battle on a similar confusion a time ago) and thus hinged his strategy on holding the river with light troops which he heavily invested in. A perfectly sensible stratagem except it was not a deep stream and thus my infantry turned them into mince meat. My aggressive centre of dismounted knights and tough infantry proceeded to tear his line to bits.

The battle's main feature was a large / disordering stream between the two sides. In the end, the terrain slowed down the pyrrhic phalanxes long enough for the parthians to punch through decisively on the wings. gg!

Jetzt sehe ich das "random27" am 20.02. ein Spiel / Karte für mich (rth) erstellt hat, habe auch Post (PM) bekommen, aber kann sie nicht öffnen.
Beim Versuch sie zu öffnen erscheint folgende Nachricht: "Sie sind nicht berechtigt, private Nachrichten zu lesen, die gehalten werden."

Hier im Forum TDC-Klassik-Arrangieren von ... finde ich keinen Eintrag von "random27" an mich , seine anderen Herausforderungen an andere Spieler enthalten kein Passwort im Forum

At first the battle wasn't going great for the Armenians as most of the elephants managed to engage unharmed and the Indian Artillery scored some great hits. The situation changed rapidly when a unit of cilician knights achieved a double drop against a unit of indian close fighters and caused a chainrout that swept away the whole left flank of the indian army. After two or three more turns of fighting the battle ends with a Armenian victory.

Captain Savage (Portuguese with Berber allies) defeats ericdoman1 (Muslim Indian) 63:48

A victory after a string of defeats, had me doubting the Portuguese after a bit. They proved their worth again in a very close battle against the massed elephants of the Indians. Numbers told as the swarm of Portuguese and Berbers managed to stand against the onslaught of Pachyderms and missiles and hit back with enough force to turn the tide. Knights being slightly better after the update, had their day in the sun, and smashed up some poor medium infantry whilst dodging the elephants and rough ground. MVP in this game was actually the enemy elephant drovers, who clearly failed to give their charges enough wine to keep them brave. I have never killed so many elephants before.

Re. Probleme

habe wahrscheinlich ein Teil des Problems gefunden.

Ich glaube die automatische Übersetzungsfunktion ist Schuld.

1. mein Postfach war voll, ich konnte aber keine Nachrichten löschen, nachdem ich die automatische Übersetzungsfunktion abgeschaltet habe .... konnte ich alte Nachrichten löschen
2. verändert die automatische Übersetzungsfunktion Namen, zum Beispiel: DocVanNostrand richtige Schreibweise ... hier im Forum wurde er mir unter DocVanNos angezeigt ... und an dem ging keine Nachricht raus
3. bei eingeschalteter Übersetzungsfunktion ist das verschicken von Nachrichter auch umständlicher ... es sind 2 Klicks mehr nötig, ... als ohne und manchmal funktioniert es auch dann nicht

aber es geht weiter 2 von 6 haben meine Einladung angenommen, ich freue mich auf spannende Spiele ... meinen Dank an Lynx57 und random27
