Against medium and light infantry the elephants are very useful. Especially when they make a unit flee, they follow and charge with enough force against what crosses them, so they can cause a domino effect.

Well played. The Medes and Assyrians formed up compactly taking advantage of the high and rugged terrain, but after a fierce battle, the phalanxes, aided by the elephants, managed to break through the Medes and Assyrian formation.

Good game and well fought. Learned a lot that game. Underestimated elephants, should have focused archer fire more even with the penalty. Also heavy chariots are def not line holders, especially when their only capability is Bow.

A large area of rough going in the center separated open terrain on both flanks. The Portuguese split their army to cover both flanks of the Berber attack. The majority of the Portuguese were defending a gentle hill on one flank. However, the Berber troops lead by the veteran spear supported by missile fire successfully attacked the hill and turned the flank of the Portuguese army.
