Oh, and by the way, very nice addition, the few US marine units with amphibious transport. :D

:!: Another point, as you've moved some of the units, the two northern coastal guns aren't visible now from start (nor visible nor pointed using Red Arrows - which may now look strange, as the counter indicates 6 to be destroyed but we do see only 4 of them from start).

ColonelY, your comments are really helpful. Thank you for taking the time to go into such detail. That was a lot of triggers to go through! (This was reinforced to me when I went in to change the AI team for all of the random MG placements. There are a lot of them. Added experience and entrenchment too while I was at it.)

I've updated v2.0 with the changes you suggested: https://www.dropbox.com/s/brtsjbzfeqmef ... 0.zip?dl=0

A few of the points you mentioned are deliberate:
1. The eastern gunboats and schnellboat are on static defense because they're meant to be obstacles for the ground troops, or targets of opportunity for air units.
2. The short-range local defense for team 2 is deliberate. Didn't want them running too far from their positions. (Maybe some or all of the local defense ranges should be changed, not sure.)
3. Only the 4 most visible coastal guns are highlighted at the start. Adds a little mystery, maybe?

Thanks again!

Has anyone else tried this scenario? If so, what did you think?

Bru's version is here: viewtopic.php?f=374&t=78762
I hope it is ok to post this link in your thread, Jarry.

Is it unusual to have two versions of the same scenario? If so, I will be more careful next time.
Yes, now they are side by side (top to bottom? adjacent) for all of eternity in the Custom Scenarios thread. (It goes by posting date, so they are inseparable.) Or, if not for eternity, at least until they take this forum down someday, obsoleted when all video games become playable inside of our skulls using implanted chips that override our senses.

Excellent - a place of honour.
