you can capture enemy units, when they surrender if they are unable to retreat or encircled, then you can purchase units you captured, they can be found under your units labled captured hope this helps

Re: how to get enemy technology?
You can capture equipments they field and deploy them in your own units, that's the only way to "get enemy technology". There is no reverse engineering in this game.
Re: how to get enemy technology?
what a cool idea, imagine if you could capture XX kv-2s and 6 months later you could get -10% accuracy buff from all future kv attacks. or if you lose XX panzer3 against a country you get a -10% accuracy penalty for all future panzer 3 attacks. the thinking here is the lost/captured units allowed "reverse engineering" and made the units less effective in future battles.

Re: how to get enemy technology?
Anytime a unit you're attacking surrenders you have a chance to "capture" their equipment. In order to access that equipment you go to the store like you would to buy anything else you need.
Here's a screen shot of the captured tanks I have available. I go to the store ($ sign), then tanks, then scroll all the way down past the regular tanks and prototypes to the captured equipment at the bottom. I can buy them and use them as I would any other tank.
Re: how to get enemy technology?
Just keep in mind that you need to have at least 10 of captured equipment to field a unit with that equipment. I usually wait until I have at least 35 or so.
Re: how to get enemy technology?
Exactly. In case someone didn't know, your replacements also come from this limited pool of equipment. So if you run out...gotta upgrade out of it.
