Field of Glory Franchise Road Map

Hello, just getting into this great franchise and have bought all the expansions for Field of Glory 2 and recently made the same plunge with FOG2 Medieval during the latest steam sale. I am a sucker for doing things in a chronological order and have made a spreadsheet which takes all the campaigns, epic battles and quick battles and puts them in chronological order... currently have much fun as the Assyrians beating up on their neighbors

Was interested in knowing the long term plans for Field of Glory. How close to present day will it get? End of the 19th century? Napoleonic Wars? 7 Years War? What is to come in the next year? The next couple of years? Is there an actual road map or are you just planning things one title at a time? I know the developers can only say so much, but any tidbits would be appreciated so I know what to dream about!

AFAIK the timeline ends around 1500. On the other end there should be another DLC covering the early Biblical armies. I think there is a thread on the forum where the designer answered this question as well. While the DLC do not exactly match up to the books, you can use the tabletop game as a guide. The tabletop version had separate games for the Renaissance and Napoleonic periods, whereas ancients and medieval were combined. I would recommend getting the earlier Pike & Shot title from Slitherine if you are interested in that period or Sendoku Jidai for the far east version.
