O of B dialog Boxes only show "gibberish".

I started playing Order of Battle today, to continue playing a campaign and the app automatically downloaded the latest version v9.14. Now when you run the cursor over any of the areas that has a dialog boxes on the game only display gibberish. IE: "Campaign Screen, on the control panel at the bottom of the game screen, "Options" "Purchase", etc. And also when you scroll over the units, the white dialog box identifying the unit types just shows gibberish. Any suggestions??? (It's quite annoying)

It's NOT a language problem, I play in English, too... It's a problem that occurred IMMEDIATELY after the game "updated" to version v9.14. Now every text box (dialog box) only contains non-readable gibberish. I contacted Customer Support and they asked me in addition to describing the problem, to send screenshots. I did, twice and they keep saying that my "attachments" (JPEGs) aren't coming through... (Which is odd because I send them to others EVERY DAY.) So, we'll see how long it takes before more and more of us have this problem. But, it's definitely directly caused by the last update. (v9.14)

I am having same problem. bought game from gog.com a few days before update it worked great. after update all is gibberish. changed resolution to highest setting, no effect is it possible to reinstall earlier version

1920x1080... Which is the same resolution I've played for the entire 400 hours that I've logged on this game. Everything worked fine, until yesterday, when it updated to v9.14. Then all gibberish.

Maybe, but I play the game in French since 2020 and I have this problem only since the last update, they probably messed up with something with this update

Those who have this issue, are you using GOG/Slitherine/Steam version?

And does the issue persist if you try other resolutions (e.g. run it at 720p in a window as a test?)

FYI, this seems to be GOG only, we're investigating now

edit: And this should now be fixed if you refresh/update your GOG build

Okay, you got me. What patch and from where? Is your game version still 9.14?

The issue was only in the GOG version.

We just did a small update to that version. We remain on 9.1.4

And it worked brilliantly... I spent two days TRYING to interact with the Slitherine "Customer Support" by e-mail and got ABSOLUTELY nowhere. (I could have talked to my dog for same amount of help). So, I came here and BOOM almost instantly they found the problem and solved it!!!

Open GOG Galaxy App. Then, O of B game. It should automatically install the v9.14 Patch for you.
