Burma Road animations

Post by banshee_slith »

I am playing Burma Road. The animations of the Japanese and my allied troops, even at the fastest setting, is taking forever and driving me nuts. Is there a way to disable the animations entirely?

I suppose you mean the turns length, right?

I think you can allow the computer to make the AI calculations during the animations (should be "on" by default), but I don't think you can actually entirely "skip" the enemy turn.

Some scenarios, especially defensive ones, really force you to sit back and look at the game playing itself.

I would prefer not to see the little men throwing grenades, shooting, etc. I guess I am stuck with this. Bummer.

The way I play this now, is after I finish my turn, I turn off the volume and go do something else until the computer is done playing with itself. I absolutely hate it. Why the developers force us to let he computer slowly take its turn is beyond me.

Unless something important is going to happen I usually do stuff during the turn, like checking the phone or doing chores.

Anyway, that only happens on big defensive scenarios and some big naval battles.
