Re: TDC - Classical - Arranging Matches
In the instructions for issuing challenges you mention putting the password in this forum:
"Issuing challenges for Classical and Imperial are posted in this topic using the format of Names, Armies, confirm match created, confirm personal message sent, list password.
For example:
"Geffalrus (Antigonids 320-301) challenges ericdoman1 (Macedonians 328-321); match is up, personal message sent, and password is.... blueberries"
Why is the password going to be on the open forum? Surely the password should be in the private message only. Otherwise there is a danger someone else could mistakenly accept the challenge?

Re: Field of Glory II - The Divisional Championships (TDC)-Rules
There is one aspect of the challenges I'm not sure I fully understand and that is the rerolling of terrain maps at the start of challenges.
"If both players do not agree on the map on the first two rolls, they must use the map on the 3rd roll."
How does this work in practice? Maybe I have missed something but I wasn't aware of the facility to "reroll" the maps at the start of a game. Does this mean in practice closing down the game if the map isn't suitable and restarting?

Re: Field of Glory II - The Divisional Championships (TDC)-Rules
When you issue the first challenge, if both players do not agree on the map, a player resigns and a player issues another challenge. Once more if both players do not agree on the map, a player resigns and a player issues the third challenge. This time the map must be used.Stones1985 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:10 pm There is one aspect of the challenges I'm not sure I fully understand and that is the rerolling of terrain maps at the start of challenges.

Hope that clarifies things.

Re: TDC - Classical - Arranging Matches
There's no real danger, except the tiny chance there is a mistake (never happened to me after countless games played) that you'd have to set up the game again. No one's going to pick a random game and put that game's pw in to start a game they're not part of.^^Stones1985 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:05 pm In the instructions for issuing challenges you mention putting the password in this forum:

Thanks eric that clarifies things. It was just the use of the word reroll that confused me.

Re: TDC Imperial - Arranging Matches
I see challenges being issued, but I don't see the update/corrections to the army lists mentioned previously in the thread.

Re: TDC Imperial - Arranging Matches
The army lists have been updated. As Rosedelio is a lower ranked player, he got his first choice and you were given your next pick which didn't conflict with any other lower ranked players.

Re: TDC Imperial - Arranging Matches
OK,
I was under the assumption there couldn't be two of the same army (Snooky51 and I have Sassanids), but now I see it's allowed if they are from different time periods

Re: TDC Later Medieval Divisions, Army Allocations and arranging matches
Slitherine has released the Field of Glory: Medieval- Storm of Arrows DLC. The Medieval game update is now available. Please update your Medieval game before you start any TDC games.
You play everyone else in your division at your choice of order. You can issue challenges to anyone in your division or your opponents may challenge you and you can accept. If you have too many games going then just let your opponent know that you may be a bit slow until you have fewer games. Challenges are created in the multiplayer zone and you post here with details and password. You should also send a private message to your opponent so that they know.
The deadline for finishing this season is May 7th. That is about 12 weeks.
Please remember to post the division at the top of your challenge.
Good luck and most importantly have fun

Right, a few players, and coordinators, were confused by that actually.Delbruck wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 3:01 pmOK,
