1943 and Pacific
Just a quick heads up ..
I've seen quite a few questions here and elsewhere about 1943 and the Pacific beta.
It's understandable and we're sorry for the delay. Despite claims to the contrary, Covid is not over and continues to impact the Panzercorps team significantly.
Those who are able are still working hard but those who aren't need time. When we can confirm new dates, we will.
Rest assured development has not stopped, we're not all on holiday in the Canaries, and we've not run away with the millions to live the lives of rock stars. Key people are very sick and need to recover. Thats all.

Man, if I had a dollar for every time I've heard that one...
Re: 1943 and Pacific
Thx for the update. Still waiting and checking in daily in the forum for news. Could you at least show us a little teaser about 1943?
Re: 1943 and Pacific
Thanks for information and best health and wishes to the PC2 / Slitherine team members.

Re: 1943 and Pacific
In the meantime, lets cross our fingers and wish the Panzercorps team a speedy recovery.
Re: 1943 and Pacific
Thanks for the update, Pat. Sounds like some people who are very involved in these games' production are in a bad state. That is sad to hear on a human level. No business or part of society is spared from this pandemic, and I know personally many people who were fully vaccinated, boosted too, and still got COVID and were pretty sick from it. I even know people who had it before and got it again some months later. Not everyone who gets it is because they were somehow "irresponsible" or whatever.
I wish them all a speedy recovery.

Okinawa 1945, the Japs are self-isolating in that cave and the Marines have started a fire to flush them out..

Thanks for the update! I wish quick recovery for the staff!
Re: 1943 and Pacific
first of all all the best wishes to the entire dev team and i hope u`ll get well soon.
i was expecting to take a while longer for the AO `43 considering after stalingrad we had the option for the split grand campaign. It is likely (in my opinion) we will have 2 mission trees depending on each variant. saving 6th army, or obeying to the orders of high command. and from that point i think it will be basically 2 campaigns for `43 one for each variant we have chosen at stalingrad.
anyways looking forward for news and meanwhile take care and be healthy.

Re: 1943 and Pacific
IMO 3 campaign (and 3 dlc?): AO43E historical, AO43E non historical and AO43West…evilmii wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 12:35 pm fir of all all the best wishes to the entire dev team and i hope u`ll get well soon.

Re: 1943 and Pacific
maybe a linear mission tree up to kursk and there depending on stalingrad choice 6th army comes to change the course of the battle of kursk or not .
so maybe the split will be at kursk, with continued offensive if successful at kursk or defensive scenarios if the battle of kursk is lost by the german army

Re: 1943 and Pacific
I hope they dont split 1 dlc, or make it big really big. i would prefer 2 dlcs for 43 and buy them both or a big one (with both path) more expensive. A normal dlc with 16 missions split in to 8 and 8 would feel really short.evilmii wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:37 pm maybe a linear mission tree up to kursk and there depending on stalingrad choice 6th army comes to change the course of the battle of kursk or not .
