SUPPRESSION questions?
does suppression show up under the Statistics tab? or is it derived from another easily viewable stat? or is there a separate place/tab/table for suppression? I wish to maximize the Lethal Attack Hero. what other Heroes combined with Lethal Attack maximize its destructiveness? How much would it enhance the ME 109Z with Rudel w/Double Attack, Ignore Entrenchment, and Lighting Attack? is 1.5X necessary with these other Heroes? Consolidator? thanks.

The Lethal Attack hero is for use with units that mostly deal suppression damage: strategic bombers, artillery and anti-aircraft artillery.scorehouse wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 4:45 pm does suppression show up under the Statistics tab? or is it derived from another easily viewable stat? or is there a separate place/tab/table for suppression? Lethal Attack is wasted on the ME109Z, which is a tactical bomber. You could use 1.5X and Consolidator both for an insane amount of damage, but is it worth the core slot cost?
Re: SUPPRESSION questions?
Suppression shows up in the unit information panel as a blue broken heart and adjacent number. Zero means no suppression. When the blue number is equal to the unit’s remaining strength, the unit is fully suppressed and cannot shoot back.
Entrenchment and suppression work together. The level of entrenchment appears to the right of the suppression number. If the unit is entrenched beyond the default level of the terrain type, the number is green. Otherwise, the number is gray.
Attacks that suppress a unit also tend to reduce entrenchment. If a unit with a gray entrenchment number is dealt damage greater than 2/3 of its unsuppressed strength, it will retreat if it can and surrender if it cannot. If it surrenders, you earn prestige.

thanks for the info Robman
Re: SUPPRESSION questions?
Also, regarding suppression showing up. It literally appears on all units that have Suppressing Fire trait, so in addition to Tactical bombers, Artillery and AA guns mentioned by Panzer73, the armored trains you get in AO DLC also count and it visibly improves their usefulness. Worth a try for sure. However, it is not track as a separate stat anywhere.

Re: SUPPRESSION questions?
ironically the armoured train is my icon right now. never tried attaching a hero to an A-train? anyone tried?
Re: SUPPRESSION questions?
Yes, I have added that Lethal Attack hero on it in one of my runs and it really made it a more potent threat. Good ideas seem to be also Entrenchment Killer (since ironically it does not have it) and... No Surrender. This is because moving only on railroads makes the train especially prone to surrenders if it gets unluckily blocked. Most time the amazing movement allows it to retreat behind your own troops, but if it gets between two enemy ones things will get dire. On the other hand, Artillery Support seems wasted on it since it will depend on the map if it can get placed in a way to actually benefit your forces.
