So there is just one game to complete and then we can wrap things up.

Our next team event will follow in January and I hope everyone joins in and perhaps we will get a few new players to keep us going. Thanks from me to all of you for getting into the spirit of the team event, and it has been good to read the lively game reports.

A massive thanks to Alan for this Event, the best ever that I have participated in due to the mixture of Skirmish & Historical Scenarios ( thanks to all the Creators of the Community Scenarios ) and Alan's skills in putting it all together, sorting the Teams & Players ( how he gets the team match-ups is a mystery to me ).
Well Done Alan !!!

The Theme was great and fitted in with many of us who have cultural backgrounds associated with the English & Scots
It brings everything that I enjoy about computer wargaming together, good friends, interesting historical armies, an historical theme to the games, a mixture of Skirmish and Historical Scenarios ( makes an 'Event' imo ), reasonably balanced armies that require some skill to get the best out of, plenty of time to play a game and the dice are rolled by the PC !

So, a historical outcome to finish off this team event, which seems to have been a lot of fun for everybody, myself included.

Thanks for all the kind words and I look forward to seeing you all at the next team event. In the meantime if you want to practice a bit, please make sure you download the Extra Nations v3 mod and try out some of the games with revolting peasants. We may also play the Odenathus scenario, Mookerheide, but Brian and I are currently testing it for game balance and interest. Any thoughts, suggestions etc on the team event are most welcome.

Finally, best wishes to all for 2022, despite Omicron and all the other crises in the world.
