Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
Hello again!
If you have any interest, I could really use a unit icon which I have not encountered for Panzer Corps so far:
The Flakpanzer I
Only produced in small numbers, but non the less a viable modification and use of the obsolete Panzer I chassis!
Usually it had a munition trailer behind it.
A SPAA and SPAT icon would be great for my addon to Battlefield Europe.
Thus making it possible to freely upgrade between Panzer I, Panzerjäger I, Sturmgeschütz I and Flakpanzer I.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flakpanzer_I

Thank you very much for your consideration!
PS: If anyone instead knows of an existing Panzer Corps icon of the Flakpanzer I, please tell me.

Nevermind, found out that AKRebel already has made such an icon, will ask him for permission.

Hello to all:
Here is one icon that was left without publishing before I went "underground". The Breda B.201 dive bomber which was an italian aircraft prototype (it never went to active service). Anyway, its performances would have been mediocre at best... But, may be someone find it useful...
Included is the icon and two refernce images for that aircraft model. Enjoy!

Hello Cw!! It´s so nice to hear from you in this old but much liked thread (by me
)
Yes,I am in good shape fortunately. It was just that I felt a little "war weary" and besides, here in Argentina, the economical situation is somewhat difficult for the ones like me who is not working in the public administration. Because of that reason,I have to work very hard to keep my income in a reasonable level... Inflation is a real pain here...
Having said that, the good news is that some days ago I could buy a modern netbook computer, which will allow me to start playing Panzer Corps again! Also,I am feeling the "itch" to continue the development of "my" official-content compatible equipment file and "semi-what if" campaign. All of which, of course, makes me very happy. That means, of course, you will be seeing new stuff posted here from time to time...
So, thank you very much for dropping by, and merry Christmas for you and your family!
Also, the same best wishes for everyone here! I hope you all have a very happy time today and a very prosperous new year!!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
With the new Italian + German campaign in North Africa released by Nikivdd, I think it is a good idea to update/complete the Italian unit roster with some icon variety. Here is a small infantry-type units pack with pre/early war versions of said icons. I hope you like them!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
A new "what if" aircraft for the Reggia Aeronautica... The Piaggio P.133 heavy bomber... According to wikipedia:
"The final development of the P.108, the P.133 prototype, was almost complete by the time of the Armistice (8 September 1943), but the program was dropped soon afterwards and the aircraft was never finished. It was designed to have a lighter structure and several improvements in performance, which were partially influenced by a captured B-24, with a potential speed of 490 km/h (304 mph), 6 20 mm cannon, 4 12.7 mm (.5 in) machine guns and a bomb load of up to 4,800 kg (10,600 lb)."
Enjoy!!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
As a new project of mine, I plan to design a remake of the Fall Grun scenario with a slightly bigger map than the one present in the Nikivdd DLC...
So in first place I will prepare some units to complete to some extent the unit roster for Czechoslovakia.
Here are the air units: a fighter (Avia B.534), a recon / light attack aircrtaft (Letov S.328) and a light bomber (Avia B.71, which was a Tupolev SB produced under license). Credits to Bebro for making the SB icon and to Wurschtmaxe (member of the Pak mod team) for the icons of the B.534 and S.328 which provided me with the base to start my work. Enjoy!
PS: Happy new year to all!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
I think very heavy artillery units, should not be able to move and fire in the same turn...
So, a good idea should be to add a movement switch stance (separated fron the firing switch) to heavy siege artilery units like Karl Gerat and the 28 cm and 80 cm Kanone (E). This is a very interesting idea, one that I would like to test in my "personal" equipment file. Also, I would make a separate unit class for that kind of very heavy artillery units, with the intention of making them unable to provide artillery support fire to adjacent friendly units. I think those very specialized units should be only able to be used for what they were designed for: attacking heavy fortifications, not providing defensive support fire. In fact, I think the player should commit resources to keep those valuable units protected (by "regular" artillery to defend them against enemy attacks, and AA against air raids), instead of using them to protect other less important units.
In the meantime, here you have two variations of the "move" type icon for the Karl Gerat (one with its barrel lowered to zero elevation, and the other with also the barrel in horizontal position, but with a protective canvas cover over it). May be anyone find them useful.
Enjoy!

The same treatment for the Karl Gerat 041 icon, with its 54 cm caliber longer barrel...

Hello Kanthe...
Here is a Befehkswagen_IB. Not needing to reivent the wheel, this icon is a modification over the one made by AK Rebel...
By the way, is it posible for you to make unit icons from your museum exhibits? The images from your museum are bigger than the standard unit icon for Panzer Corps. But having visited your virtul museum, it would be nice for me to obtain an icon for the Panzerwerfer IV. Can it be made?
Thamks!
