Expected Outcome of combat slider

Post by timberwolf15 »

In the Past I set the slider to where I would know exactly the outcome of the battle for example I loose 3 and they loose 4 .. etc. And it was always accurate then now its different and I have tried it on 100 and on 0 do you all know which way I need to have it .. Thanks .. the tooltips confuse me because I ran away from home when I was 5 and never completed high school.

Sharing a screenshot or two should help as it's hard to tell what the exact issue is, but if you set combat randomness to 0, you should always get the same result as given in the prediction.Any increase to that will make the chances for the result being different bigger by making the range of the difference larger with each step.

0 on the randomness slider is perfect predictions.

100 is fully random. This is my fav. Combat is unpredictable (I also play with Arrogant).

50 is the weird middle ground, where actual result is averaged with the prediction for a boring middle ground
