It wasn’t such a good idea to land just behind the German lines as the Germans started to retreat at the same time (trigger?). I had to rehire some of the troops. Unfortunate encounter...
I call the air force for support to limit damage. Should I have landed a little further (?)

Date problem :
Salerno (mission n°10), my last turn before victory (Turn 28/40) 6 OCT 1943 :
PS: Historically Operation Avalanche, the battle of Salerno: 9-18 September 1943.
Volturno Line (mission n°11), Deployment Mode, 25 SEP 1943 :

Tip for the GUI (Game User Interface) :
It’s something I discovered quite by chance when playing this DLC.
When there are many factions, this can hinder visibility, then just click on one of the small flags to only display it (by re-clicking on it, the other factions will reappear) :

Just finished this DLC yesterday, I’m waiting for the next...

Not the best campaign for OOB. US needed more spec points, many secondary objectives felt rather uninspired and the scenarios in general lacked creativity.

Is this DLC playable with only US core units?

Just the other day I watched Kelly's Hero with the wife.
The next day I was playing the Kasserine Pass scenario for the first time, when all of a sudden out of the fog of war a Tiger appears and vaporizes one of my units.
I was so suprised I shouted outloud, "Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers".
My wife who was on the couch nearby couldn't help but laugh.
