GraftMalt (German with Polish allies) beats Lynx57 (Dailami with Khorasanian allies) 51 - 23
Good Game - the Germans used the light troops to get in melee with the Dailami lights so that the enemy could not use the beginning to line up on the ridge before the German heavy foot arrived with arrow support. Had some luck and the elephants marched in range of my bows so I could grind them down early. Good Game and wish you good luck in the other games

carpenkm - Sassanid 591-628 AD with Arab (Bedouin) 300-636 AD allies beat Doyley50 - Palmyran 258-273 AD 42 - 2
The Sassanids managed to win the skirmish fight and separated some cataphracts from the heavy infantry. This meant that the Sassanids managed to achieve 40% without engaging the rather threatening Roman Legions! Thanks for the game.

Morat (Franks/Vikings) beat paulmcneil (Rus 960-1053 AD with Bulgar (Danube) 852-1018 AD allies) 53-27
After short initial manoeuvres, the Frankish cavalry threatened the Rus left - opening the centre up for a massed heavy infantry assault, while on the Rus right their horse archers were pressed back by spears.
In the end the Frankish foot were too much - the Rus did well to neutralise and then disperse the Frank lancers, but the battle in the centre was decisive.
