Not from that map at least. I recognize the campaign tree from earlier on the other site's forums, and can confirm it is how the campaign is structured on my computer now.

No, Uzbek. Turtler is right. It has only been published for four months. And when I publish a campaign, it is usually so well tested that no updates are necessary. It doesn't really benefit the players if they have to reinstall such a mod every few weeks. So the 1863-1871 campaign is complete.
However, as I described earlier, I am working on the sequel. But it will still take a number of months. At the moment I am in the test run for the 3rd scenario (of about 60). Battles are taking place between Lviv and Przemyśl (the place really has a horrible name). Well, what will the sequel be about?

I'm Guessing the Habsburg Empire in WWI?

I am not sure.

But ya. You have done a remarkable job. And to be honest even from what you've just put up, I can already making a bunch of different campaigns using just the D2R Assets. The ones that come to mind would be (in order of descending likliehood).

1. Some kind of Continental II French Napoleonic Empire one, going from (at least) the Italian War and Solferino to the showdown with Bismarck.

2. Some kind of Piedmontese/Savoyard/Italian Campaign in which you fight through the shifting alliances and revolutionary turmoil- and of course the Austrians- to try and unite Italy.

3. Schleswig War stuff.

4. A Habsburg Grand Campaign, in which you struggle to assert the honor of AEIOU against all comers, from Italians and French, to Danes, to the Prussian threat.

5. Maybe 1848 Revolution?

I am not sure I'd have either the skill or resources to do justice to it, but I do think there's a lot of potential here, especially if you'd be willing to approve such submods/campaigns.

This is about the second German empire. This empire had a warlike beginning with the 3 wars of unification, which were dealt with in the first version of this mod, and it has a warlike end in 1918. The sequel therefore logically revolves around the First World War, as you have correctly guessed, Turtler.

You list quite a number of other possibilities for additional campaigns where the units of D2R-2106 could be used. Some units could certainly be used for such a purpose. However, I suspect that other modders who are more adept at making units will be found here to build good sets.

As for the use of individual parts of my mod, they are freely available. I myself borrow individual components from other mods or units posted here in the forum for my work. The sequel I'm working on now about World War I alone will bring over 400 new units into the game. Many of them I have gained from this forum. Many more have been newly assembled by me.

The problem, however, is not so much a release of mine as the time factor. Building a solid campaign takes a lot of time. To give you an idea - I've been working on the sequel since the end of June and have already put in about 500 hours. About half of that was spent on setting up the new units. I've already spent 160 hours on the pure campaign part, although I'm still at the very beginning of it. I have to say, however, that 90 hours of that were scenario tests. So there is also some play involved.

I'm writing this here to show that a project like this can't be completed in a few days on a whim. It takes perseverance, organisation, discipline and a lot of time. But if you are willing to put in the time - I can only recommend it. It is a lot of fun.

Maestro, we are not rushing you, it's just not entirely clear on what topic the mod about Prussia or DAW continuation will be

Haha, I don't feel pressured at all. I sketched out the times in my previous post here to explain what kind of effort such a project can mean.

The continuation with the 1st World War refers to D2R, precisely with reference to the second German Empire. DAW has a completely different background. Besides, DAW was completed with version 20-07 in the summer of 2020.

Oh, yes, Uzbek. And if you are going to call me "Maestro" here, which is either meant ironically (that would be sad), or is clearly exaggerated, then please use the term "Maestra". I am a woman, in case that has escaped your notice.

I thought your nickname could be visited by a daughter or girlfriend))) Pleasantly surprised ) Excuse me if I look like a barbarian , but I 'm a little discouraged ....

Yes, Sonja is my real first name. The fact that I ended up with this game has to do with my high interest in historical topics. My family, like many families in Europe, was very strongly affected by the Second World War. So I was already very interested in these topics in my early childhood.

In addition, I love working with maps. I think you can see that in my maps for the scenarios. This leads relatively easily to turn-based strategy games, which usually have a historical background and are played on hex maps. Panzer Corps 1 is a very mod-friendly programme that, as you can see in this forum, is also used extensively. So it is not at all surprising that I ended up with this game. Gender is irrelevant to the game anyway, or as they would say in Germany .... "wurscht" (doesn't matter).

Yes , I have already recovered from the first shock ) Well, what can I say your mods are sometimes better than men's ___ good luck and we are waiting for new projects from you) Take your time, we are all fans here, not racers ;) Glad to meet you Sonya ) 89 is this the year of birth ? I have always been surprised by your knowledge of some of the details that you have managed to show men are not so attentive to details)

...your mods are sometimes better than men's...
... what do you mean by "sometimes", what is the point of such restrictions?

But all joking aside. My works are very good in parts and less so in others. Different players perceive certain strengths and weaknesses of a modification differently. Depending on what is particularly important to one. The respective overall judgement is then made accordingly.

89 does not refer to my year of birth, which is 1963, so I am a little older. In this respect, I fit in quite well with this 'old' Panzer Corps 1 programme.

As for the attention to detail, I like to work as many historical facts as possible into the scenarios. For example, the units (except for some general units - like mines) are given correct names, which takes some time but is important to me. As far as the country-specific spelling is concerned, there may be some deviations. Nevertheless, I try to adapt the language accordingly. It is important to me to convey an authentic feeling during the game. You should at least get the impression that you are in such and such a year, on such and such a battlefield. I even tried to do this in DAW, although all the missions there are fictional.

Another old campaigner... I was also born in 1963 (my 58th birthday was in August).

Thank you for your mod. There are some great graphics, it's good to see all that colour!

It is very pleasing that people in my year here can also do something with this mod - great.

Today I want to present some screens for the continuation of D2R. They are from the two scenarios "Lüttich (Liège)" and "Longwy".

Image
In the first picture you can see the still inexperienced own core troops storming the Belgian fortress city on the Meuse. The aim is to blow up the fortress belt and reach the crossing over the river.

Image
The Belgian defence is tough and the penetration of the city is slow. To develop more pressure, a detachment has crossed the river to the north and is also attacking from the west side. This could become decisive.

Image
The mission "Longwy" traces one of the battles that took place in August 1914 in the border area between France and the then German part of Lorraine. The French initially take the offensive, but are then stopped. Throughout the campaign, the player will be able to choose both German and Austro-Hungarian units as core troops and use them as desired in the missions. This is why an Austrian infantry unit also appears here in this picture.

Image
After the own troops have taken Longwy, Longuyon and Virton, it is now on to the last primary objective. By the way, the black figure with the bomb symbol in the centre of the picture is a spy, a very useful special unit that can act as a scout or saboteur. He just shouldn't get caught.

Very nice indeed Sonja, and I look forward to it. Question: what approach will you be taking to campaign branching or the like? One of the weaknesses I felt for the old Kaisershlacht mod was the inability to choose between the fronts in 1914 (at least prior to the Grand Campaign 1914 work I did).

But in any case, I imagine you'll put together something really special.
