Division E
Zawzgrzyt - Viking (Ireland) 900-1049 AD with Scots 851-1051 AD defeats Doyley50 - Lombard 776-1094 AD 59-34
The Vikings had a difficult time in this battle, the decisive factor was the lack of good infantry on the opponent's side.
GG, cheers.

Division B
Captainwaltersavage - Carthaginian (Hannibal in Italy) 216-203 BC with Samnite allies defeats IMC - Spartan 221-146 BC with Roman BC allies 57:30
The Spartan phalanxes with the Roman support is a tough combination. They started with a hill but chose to attack. I did not really have any front line troops that could stand face to face with their front line troops and I was going to have to rely upon terrain to hide my mediums in, and try and get some flanks when I was inevitably pushed back. I was lucky in both regards. Especially when some exuberant pikes rushed into some rough ground. My veteran Samnite troops really helped in the battle for the rough and once again the Carthaginian cavalry cane up trumps by confounding the reserves and managed to slip a unit through into the rear of the legions. The elephants were a tremendous help and despite losing quite a few units there were enough flanks that opened to seal the deal. A nail baiting wait till the phalanxes pushed my troops back. Not helped by some enthusiastic veterans pushing a phalanx back. I think the hardworking but often overlooked imitation legions deserve some credit in this victory. They held when they could have easily broken but they were tough enough to hold despite their poor training and equipment. Another great game.

Division C
edb1815 (Aragonese w/ Castilian ally) defeats devoncop (Mongols w/ Tatar ally) 49%-27% (surrender)
The Aragonese set up in a U shaped defensive formation protecting their knights with foot and missile troops. The Mongols brought a fair number of foot bowmen to support their amounted arm. The Mongols advanced and started the shower of arrows. The Aragonese had a good number of light horse and they sallied out to engage their opposite number. The infantry advanced with the intent of engaging the Mongol foot but several spearmen were shot away and things were not looking good for the Mongols. Eventually crossbow fire began to tell and the Spanish knights were unleashed. With most of the Mongol lancers routed and trapped and their foot falling their position became untenable and they were forced into a voluntary surrender. Well played and good game by devoncop

Division D for Determined
Barrold713 (Aragonese) defeats Blagrot (Berber) 69-49
A good ol' slugfest that could have went either way. My knights managed to break free and break up some beat up units to create the point spread right at the end.
Good game and good season for this this division
Cheers

ericdoman1 - Byzantine 600-649 AD with Arab (Bedouin) 300-636 AD allies (1200) defeated MorkinTheFree - Scots-Irish 477-846 AD (1200) 63-47
From being 34-9 down and the end was nigh, MTF came back and came back until he was in the lead. However I still had some ammo left and fresh cavalry which told in the end. Very well played Z. This was the last game this season in EMA so thanks to all concerned.

What little terrain there was worked for me more than Him. Bluefin's Cav let him down. Thank you.
