Captainwaltersavage - Carthaginian (Hannibal in Italy) 216-203 BC with Samnite 355-272 BC allies draws Challenge1 - Seleucid 166-125 BC with Jewish 163-111 BC allies 32:29
Dusk fell before the battle could be finished. The Seleucids laid a trap in a forest on my far left flank which I managed to spring and then destroy the Zealots and their irregular support. The rest of my army then tried to keep in the rough areas to avoid the full impact of the Phalanxes. realising that the battle of manoeuvre would definitely end in an empty draw I decided to advance. This was a very silly thing to do and I was suitably punished by the superior troops who crushed my smaller and less well armoured and less capable troops. The confusion of the battle allowed some of my cavalry to slip behind their lines and some pride was restored. A brilliant Seleucid elephant charge on my right flank swept away three units at once and It would be hard to say whether dusk saved me or the Seleucids. That was an interesting conundrum and has given me much to think on.

olddog52 - Scots 851-1051 AD with Viking victory vs GraftMalt - German 933-1049 AD with Polish 62-40
Attacking out of a valley and throwing my right flank onto a low hill as my light Inf delayed his light Inf on my left. Our lines slammed into each other. His line was a mix of spearmen and bowmen and that was his undoing. His Cav tried to turn my right but was stopped and pushed off the field and my right overlapped his left and started rolling it up. Thanks, GraftMalt!
