You can get sick in the bitter cold, so we worked in it in turn. The OSNAZ man in this suit crawled first, so as not to burn if the wire was under current. You can read more about the costume in the manual of the military engineer of the 1st rank Baluyev. The suit was worn through a slit at the gate and was a frequent copper mesh in several layers. Another layer of mesh was sewn onto the soles of the feet so that it would not wear out so quickly. Mittens were made of a red copper mesh, as softer and having less resistance.

The principle of operation of the grid was as follows: the human resistance was greater than that of the wire, so all the current from the wire when touched went into the ground without causing any harm to the person.
