why would you not import?

just started the 41 without importing for the first time. man do I miss my captured equipment and other heroes. is their an advantage if you don't import for the 39 or the 40 whereby you get a couple of super heroes that more than compensate for what you've left behind? wish there were a mini Import choice. say 3 heroes and 3 units you can bring with you. thoughts?

If you don't own AO40 you can't import your AO40 army into AO41.

Each DLC must be playable to people who haven't purchased all of the other DLCs.

Other than that it is another special challenge.

no I realize u can only import from the previous DLC. I own and have played them all multiple times, all importing my core from the previous DLC. that's why I'm asking if you don't import into the 39 from SCW or the 40 from the 39, are there some super heroes to overcome what you've left behind? bored sh*tless waiting on the Pacific or anything else tried the 41 non import. quit already. really miss my equipment capturing and double attack/zero slots heroes.

If you look at all the pre-set heroes that you begin a DLC without importing a core, you'll notice a pattern. In general they are the same, but you'll see that they receive bonuses, or to be more precise, an extra hero bonus the later the DLC. Some time ago I began AO41 with the pre-set core and completed it through AO42. It became pretty good and an interesting experience. I would suggest it. Lower your difficulty level by one and try again. There are some good and powerful heroes in there, so do not think it's all garbage. The main reason why beginning a later DLC without an imported core is the lack of awards, the smaller core, lower prestige, and the overall much smaller number of heroes that you have. Yes, you also will miss some of the bonus/unique heroes that you missed out on in the previous DLCs (Kerscher, Oleh, and Bär to name a few off the top of my head), but not all of them.
