Byzantium Endures Tournament AAR

Hi all,

I'm participating in the Byzantium endures tournament and decided to chronicle the games I've played. If you are interested check it out below.

Mind you I'm not a pro player, but any and all constructive feedback is welcome as I am always looking to get better at both the game and recording/narration.

Any chance you'll compile full matches into single videos as you finish them? I personally like to sit down and watch the whole thing in one sitting.

I was thinking of just creating a playlist for each match, so you start from the earliest and it auto-plays all vids until the end. Also the length and size of the video file would be quite large, but i'll see if I can mess around with that once I have a bit of time.

As per request of SnuggleBunnies, both of the round 2 matches have now been compiled into longform videos and are up.
My first time messing around with video editing it can only get better for the round 3 XD.

Mr Cuddles above is very good at doing these and I really enjoy his videos, I started to try and compile videos and realised how much fluff I would have as I ummm and argghhh too long so would have to spend heaps of time editing. I might make some showing stupid mistakes as these might be more informative and useful for folk...

Winter is coming and my DIY tasks will decline allowing me some more time to devote to this task.

Fyi the sound mixing and quality plus narration does improve from round 2 to round 3. and video editing and sound quality improves for round 4 even further. I'm learning ever so slowly with each vid.
Finally Round 3 vids should wrap up in couple of days and I'll update this post once full game for round 3 is up.

I really like how you use the neon colour and labels to show what you are watching. Excellent and very easy to find what I wanted.

Nice audio and banter, you have an easy voice to listen to.

I have only watched the complete game as that's my choice, but your labels are superb for scrolling through and finding that content. Thanks

Thanks I watched those, interesting to see a big cavalry action on that map. Both close games and even though you lost you got some decent points.

Indeed, while I'm going to admit that bad morale/cohesion rolls were really frustrating, the points carried forward were decent and I hopefully learned a few things out of that.

Yes double drops to frag'd are a pain and from memory it is a crappy double 1 on the 2d6 dice roll, there is a thread about it on the forum. Lots to learn, and easy to blame crap dice rolls for poor battlefield performance...



My last tournament round saw me take a serious beating, which some was no doubt down to luck, but the majority was down to poor choices made by me and great choices by my opponent. You learn more from defeats as the pain taken forces you to evaluate your choices and plans...

Keep them coming I appreciate the effort it takes..
