Weekly round-up
tyronec (Syracusan) is the early frontrunner in Division A and has 2 wins from 2 starts. Stew101 (Achaemenid) and XLegione (Spartan) have both started their campaigns with a win. A very important win for desertedfox (Kyrenean Greek) over dim30 (Syracusan) has seen them swap places at the top of Division B. Things are already starting to look interesting in Division C where returnee DanZanzibar (Samnite) and ray552 (Graeco-Bactrian) have started with 2 wins each. rexhurley (Sertorius) and GDod (Thracian) also have 2 wins but both have 1 defeat as well. Division D also promises to be a highly competitive affair. The current leader is Bodhran (Bosporan) with 2 wins from 4 starts, but Kroche (Carthaginian), MarcoCato75 (Roman) and DocVanNostrand (Thracian) still have 1005 records and games in hand. A division of 2 halves sums up Division E at the moment. in the top half there are 5 players who have made excellent starts. markleslie (Antigonid) is the current leader, but he narrowly lost his last match to unbeaten deeter (Gallic), who is fourth. Both Holien (Hannibal in Africa) and sivispacem (Sertorius) have started with 3 straight wins and Badger73 (Hannibal in Italy) has 3 wins from 4 starts. In the bottom half of the table, gfs26 (Roman) has already completed his matches (!) and his set a target of 10 points to beat to avoid the drop. Rosedelio (Kyrenean Greek) is just 1 win away from completing a clean sweep in Division F after his eighth victory in a row this week. Nosy_Rat (Lombard) is beginning to take a grip of proceedings in Division A after posting his fourth straight win this week. He is being gallantly chased by Questar17 (Bosporan) who also has a 100% record with 3 wins. "Whirlwind" joggy has hit Division B early this season and his winning run has stretched to 6 matches already. It is not clear where a challenger will come from at the moment. In Division C, Warg1 (Arab City) continues the trend with a winning start of 5 matches, which has put him 12 points clear of the rest. There is a much close contest in prospect in Division D where random27 (Ancient British) and sivispacem (Scots-Irish) have both started with 2 wins. Lynx57 (Roman) is the leader in Division E, 3 points ahead of Badger73 (Palmyran) with unbeaten Bluefin (Visigoth) in third place. A good old scrap is developing in Division F where the top 5 players are separated by just 2 points.
