Order Of Battle - Allies Resurgent is out

Allies Resurgent, the second chapter in the trilogy of DLCs featuring World War II from the Allied perspective, is out now. The new campaign depicts battles in North Africa, the Mediterranean, and finally in Europe from late 1942 to early 1944.

At the start of the campaign, you lead US forces in Operation Torch, which marks the beginning of US involvement in the fighting in North Africa. After the first battle against Vichy-French units, you’ll need to prevail against veteran Axis forces in Tunisia.

Afterward, the campaign shifts focus to the British Eighth Army’s advance into southern Tunisia. Following a successful breakthrough at the Mareth Line, the British push north: they aim to form a continuous front with the Allied forces which participated in Operation Torch, and advance into Tunisia from the west.

In spring 1943, you will take command of both the US and British forces in a combined offensive to retake Tunis, and will put an end to the Axis presence in North Africa for good.

The last stage of Allies Resurgent features the return of Allied ground forces to Europe, beginning with the amphibious invasion of Sicily. Finally, you’ll have to invade mainland Italy at Salerno, defeat German defenses at the Volturno Line, and ultimately take back Rome.

Allies Resurgent also adds 2 new specializations, 5 new Allied commanders, 12 scenarios, and 11 new units for both Allied and Axis countries:
  • Re 2002, Italian fighter-bomber
  • PZW 42, rocket launcher on Halftrack
  • DD Bourrasque, French destroyer
  • DD L'Adroit, French destroyer
  • C15 TA, Canadian armored truck
  • L4 Grasshopper, US recon plane
  • M3 ScoutCar, US armored car, recon
  • T28E CGMC, US anti-air unit on halftrack
  • T30 HMC, US artillery on halftrack
  • A36 Apache, US ground attack version of P-51 fighter
  • Lancaster, heavy British strategic bomber

Core import is there and worked fine when I quickly tried it. Only the arrow is missing just like terminator showed above.

Does one faction's specializations effects units of the other factions? For instance, will metal detectors only be for British Engineers, or all Allied Engineers?

• Solved a bug where selling a just deployed unit would create some errors
• Solved a bug where some units that didn't had moves left could trigger the "Units moves"
popup at the end of a turn
• Solved some units broken fire animations
• Solved a bug where some units didn't persist their sleep status throughout multiple turns
• Solved a bug where kill specific unit triggers/objectives didn't behave as expected
• Added Allies Resurgent

No, one faction's specializations do not affect units of the other factions.

Well, I'll be darned! It's as PawelS reported in a thread in Tech Support: The function is fine; it's the labels in the dialogue box that are wrong. Hitting "Cancel" instead of "Confirm" works:

I know that mathematically this never was a "bug" per se, but it was annoying still.

If my memory serves well, wasn't it like that some ages ago and then they've suddely switched them? Now the buttons are back as they were and it's just the language.txt file that has to be corrected.
EDIT: No, wrong, it was the end turn message that had the buttons switched. My bad. It's still a super quick fix with the language file.

How about the switched custom and stock unit names amongst unit-windows in the UI? Fixed?

It's not a bug, just strange. I thought that maybe the new bug comes from fixing something in the names:

I hope so. Not only recon, all 2-step units that have neither attacked nor moved twice will trigger the "unmoved unit" popup.
