PBEM++ challenge without player strengths/weaknesses?

It doesn't look like there is any way to disable player strengths and weaknesses when creating a challenge. I'd really prefer to play a match where both players have the same base capabilities. Does it require an agreement with a potential opponent beforehand, or is there some way to set that up for a random opponent challenge?

The only way without the agreement is to create a random map in the editor and then disable player traits.
