Recruitment is now underway for Season 12 of the FOG2DL, which will open on Friday 1st October and close on Sunday 12th December.
There is a medieval section in the tournament that may be of interest to you. It will include the armies from the new DLC "Swords and Scimitars", which will be released on Thursday. There is also a full range of ancient and early middle ages options that are covered by FOG2 Ancients.
If you have never entered the FOG2DL before and wish to join, post your name in this thread and I will send you an invitation. Please note that this is not an automated tournament and you will need to own the appropriate DLC's for the sections that you enter. It is also expected that players will complete all the matches that they sign up for. Failure to do so can seriously affect future entry rights.

There are still provisional places available in the High Middle Ages section of the tournament. I need another 3 players to sign up and then I will be able to open up a fifth division. This will make a further 4 places available. So there is still time to sign up.

I have opened up a 5th division in High Middle Ages so there are 4 more places available in High Middle Ages.

I would be interested in an Auto-Fill tournament. I've always disliked being able to select your army units after seeing the terrain and changing it knowing your opposing army. I prefer a tournament where you select, and write down at the start, your army composition before you have seen each battlefield and your opponent. You have a sense who your opposing armies might be based on the tournament theme, but you have both already committed to your army composition. If this is deemed too onerous, then Auto-Fill works for me.

Yes, I think we have spoken about this before. An auto-fill tournament would not be very popular, I believe. There has been no demand for it anyway.w_michael wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 3:46 am I would be interested in an Auto-Fill tournament. If you every want to dip your toe in the AutoFill water for a tournament then PM me. I know three other players would likely be interested.stockwellpete wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 11:17 amYes, I think we have spoken about this before.
