Australian Teams' communication

Post by vakarr »

This thread is for the two Australian teams : Terror Australis and Agema Australis to communicate. We are still deciding what logos to use.

Does anybody have any connections with Australian tech/gaming companies that might sponsor us? Telstra & Optus spring to mind. We could get anything from free T-shirts to a free internet connection or a new computer.

I didn't imagine this was going to get quite so big! Sponsors and all.

What level of exposure are we talking about here?

What level of exposure? SPF factor 50 needed, definitely!! I think we should go all the way to the top and get a letter from the Prime Minister at least :D It seems in Victoria the state government paid for a technical high school to have a gaming classroom setup with a a room full of powerful PCs - I couldn't find any individual funding available from governments, they only provide funding for organisations. Otherwise we could apply for some from the Dept of Defence and the Dept of Foreign Relations. I might ask my internet provider to give me free internet for a few months if one of the big companies isn't interested. Always worth a try!

I'm expecting us to be playing at the MCG before it's current packed capacity.

Also restrained and tasteful, the lower half of that picture wouldn't pass the censors.

Unbelievably it involves " insert 'local/team mascot here " . The details of which I'll leave to the imagination.

Markleslie has decided to stick with with ARAB (CITY) 300 - 633 AD with SASSANID PERSIAN 477 - 590 as his army
