How do I move troops across the ocean?

Post by wtuht »

I've conquered all of mainland Europe and the middle east, and i want to destroy Britain. But how do I do this??? I've tried putting all 4 ships on a port and corps on the city adjacent to a port, but I don't know how to load the corps onto a ship. Then Britain landed some armies on France with some transports. HOW THE HECK DID THEY BUILD TRANSPORTS???

You don't build transports.......

Move the unit you want to transport by sea next to a friendly port. On your next turn they will be able to embark on a transport (the unit effectively turns into a sea transport until they land) To do this click on the button next to the railmove button....its the same shape and size with arrows on it (yes maybe a picture of a boat would have been better!)

The only unit type that can't move by sea is the garrison unit (of course naval units dont need this funtion!)

Think that covers it! Hope that helps
