New to PC2 need info on .sav files

I'm new to Panzer Corps 2 and want to find out about new user community stuff such as new units, new scenarios, etc.

Also want to know what happened to the .pzscn files - they are apparently replaced by the .sav files.

Any information will be greatly appreciated. thanks
