I see there is a book coming out for the Far East.
My question is for the Japanes will this end at the Onin Wars or have a add on for the Rennisanse allowing the Japanese to carry on into 1600.
This would also allow Koreans in the Imjin War.
Or is still to 1500 and covering the Chinese Warring states, dynastes up to the Ming.
Early Japanese Gempi and Onin Wars along with Mongols.
Thank you I will sit down and wait for my answer

If you can have ninja Immortals, I can have Samurai with Sashimono
I'm actually looking forward to painting the Samurai... I just don't know whether to do them in 15mm or 10mm...

I already have (acording to Warmaster Anciets rules) well over 2000 points of Samurai including 7 command stands, 1 Diaymo camp for the Senjko peroid in 28mm using 85% Perry, 10% Kingsford and 5% Dixion and one bag of OG Teppo. and 3 of John Jenkins nice buildings.
The Sashimos came into vouge after the Onin War which is out of the 1500 cut off. I am getting a 15mm Senjko period 15mm miniture army because my Friend can't paint them but can paint Koreans! I must be doing something right painting them The Japanese American club wants me to set them up during there 2 day fest.
Too bad about the book. Gempi War 28mm are such a pain to paint. Pretty but a pain.
Any idea what will be in the book?

At the end of the Onin wars is the first time you see refrence to Ashigaru. Also the Onin wars should be in the next book.
The Sashimos were worn during the Senjiko peroid. Probably as a need because of the larger armies since the Ashigau were paid and part of a standing army. So the Diaymo on the hill could tell where is Ashigaru/Samurai were.
Can't get off yor camp stool during the battle could you!
