Skirmishers intercepting.

Hi everyone

Yesterday I had a couple of games of FOG with a friend and we missed a few things in the rules. I was laid awake last night and something crossed my mind so at 12.30am I switched on the lights and got the rulebook out. As I was searching I spotted something else that was key to both games. In the first game I had light horse in front and behind 1 of my BG's of almughavars. When I tried charging the 1 in front to force it into a plantation I got intercept charged by the 1 behind. In the second game I manouvered a BG of almughavars ready for a flank charge into a BG of knights in combat. Again I was intercepted in the flank by a BG of light horse. My reading of the rules is that neither interception could have been made.

Am I correct?

Skirmishers cannot intercept non skirmishers only other skirmishers.
