[Unit stats] [French vehicle+air] [v9.03]

I'm working on a custom French 1940 campaign and was checking some new units' stats against stock ones (using wikipedia).
Some of the basic OOB stats seem to be off (highlighted in red).
BTW, the Renault FT-17's 7 km/h is not a typo :roll: After all, it was in service from 1917...

Without doubt there are still stats in there that could be changed. Usually I take on a certain segment when there's a new DLC, but there still enough to find. For example, for the next Strat Bmbs shock values will be more diverse as they are pretty generic currently.

That being said, many of the stats are rather abstracted that they do not translate exactly into specs like km/h.

IIRC the FT's speed was even higher earlier, so it's now more of a gameplay-related compromise. I could see it lower than 6 still, np.

I believe it would be easier for modders and devs alike if real life speeds and ranges were the basis for stats.
And units with extreme high or low values would then be adjusted to something that works in the game.
Checking all the current game movement/range stats would be a large job though. Maybe create a simple form that modders/players could fill out and thus help the devs?

An example; In my mod I have replaced the generic naval vessel movements with historical values (easy to change). I believe this creates more variation both for ship purchases and play.
