Robert your correct about the dice and BG.

Now can anyone tell me cause i can't see it if a BG of Knights is fighting in melee with offensive spear only in one rank. I know the spears don't get the plus for spears do therefore the knights get thir plus for swords against them. Got a feeling they don't.

Nobody get the plus. Spearmen because are in just one rank. Knights because are confronting against spear. If spearmen are steady negate the bonus to swordsmen, no matter on how many ranks they are. Spearmen don't need to get their bonus to negate swordsmen bonus.

... agreed with the brains above me... but I think you'd have to have balls this big to take on knights in one rank!

I guess it could be due to casualties though.
