The US subs deployed ok turn one. Am I doing something wrong? Does the US deployement come after turn 12?
I assume you men the Coral Sea scenario in the US Naval campaign.
Why would you wait until turn 12 to deploy your forces? They should (and can) be deployed during the deployment phase.
Anyway, I think 9.03 may have broken the deploy hexes so that they do not work after the deployment phase.
Only solution is to restart the scenario (and deploy at start).

I couldn't deploy anything at the start otherwise I would have. There were no deployment hexes appearing.
I'll start it again and see if that does anything.

Deploying units work fine in the deployment phase. I tested it in 9.03.

Yes, closed down game, reinstalled mod and that works fine.
Now the AI turn (Japanese bit i think) gets stuck on 'thinking'.
Stuck for 4 hours, so tried restarting the game, stuck on thinking for 1 hour...I dunno whats happening... shame as the first 2 scenarios were great

OOB generally struggles with naval scenarios using big maps and large number of units. Probably because the number of possible moves/attacks are numerous on a sea map. The performance is also very dependent on the power of your system, especially graphic card. Laptops will usually struggle in this department.

On my fairly powerful PC the first Japanese turn in the Coral Sea scenario takes about 20 minutes .

It may be that certain types of AI orders (search & destroy for instance) increases the AI thinking time. I may go back and see if some formation orders can receive ie movement orders instead. No promises though as I got a lot on my plate at the moment.

Apologies for the less-than-stellar experience.

Korea will get an update at some time. I do have scenario material for 3 more campaigns...

But first I need to finish the France 1940 campaign.

So they are already doing this for France ) And for Korea and the Vietnam War of 1954 there are no missions )
he game is a first-person shooter, which takes place during the First Indochina War of 1946-1954, in which the Vietnamese troops won a historic victory over the French colonial forces.

The name of the game comes from the historical date of the victory of the Vietnamese in the decisive battle of Dien Bien Phu on May 7, 1954.
sounds can be taken from here )

P.s.
Maybe this model will be useful to you ) Or someone will be able to adapt these units to Order of Battle: World War II

France 1940 will be a part of my MicroMod. This allows me to add stuff and make it much easier to create the scenarios.

New units (borrowing graphics from other units):
unit_10000 = French Marines '40
unit_10001 = French Colonials '40
unit_10002 = French Engineers '40
unit_10003 = French Cavalry '40
unit_10004 = Obusier de 105mm
unit_10005 = Anti-aérienne de 75mm
unit_10006 = 220mm TR mle 1916
unit_10007 = 150mm L_17
unit_10008 = 105mm C mle GP
unit_10009 = German Kavallerie
unit_10010 = Henschel Hs 123
unit_10011 = Supply trucks
unit_10012 = Halftracks
unit_10013 = 75mm CA mle 1897
unit_10014 = 75mm CA FF mle 1915
unit_10015 = Renault AMR 33

I also got this long list of possible French commanders.The final list will depend on available quality mugshots. Maybe you gentlemen could help me out?

Thanks, but no. Those are specifically designed to work with another game (Civilization, I guess).

Anyway, the modded helis and jets just look stupid, as they're missing important features like the jet-stream or horizontally spinning rotors... :roll:

But he somehow made a reactive and a helicopter, even with the help of crutches :?: )

It's sad but you probably know better as a mod developer :|

I have added Pierre Billotte to the commander list. Thanks.
I plan to use commanders mostly as sec obj rewards, but there will be a couple of freebies.
De Gaulle will probably arrive at Montcornet and Billotte at Stonne. Maybe there are other commanders that made a name for themselves in a certain battle as well.

Here's part of the opening at Stonne.

It's hard to describe what I mean if you only have screenshots. It's best seen in a video.

The helicopter rotors do not spin around the Z-axis on a single (horizontal) plane, but kind of "wobble" instead.

It even shows on your screenshot a bit. The rotors are tilted if you look closely.

Nice pic of colonel de Gaulle, but the quality is not too good.
I found this processed one that does not look too out of place compared to the stock pics.
