Weekly round-up
ericdoman1 (Spartan) remains 14 points clear at the top of Division A after setting a target of 30 points to beat. There are still 2 players who can do this. They are Geffalrus (Antigonid), who has won all his 3 matches so far, and klayeckles (Ptolemaic), who has 2 wins from 3 starts. hidde (Hannibal in Italy) has moved to the top of Division B with a sixth win from 7 starts. He still has to play kraff (Saka) though, who has recovered from a poor start and is now the only player who can stop hidde winning automatic promotion. 2 more wins for dim30 (Spartan) has put him in a very strong position to take second place behind Warg1 (Pyrrhic) in Division C, although snooky51 (Roman) may still challenge if he can continue his 100% record into the later stages of the season. In Division D Delbruck (Roman) still looks odds-on favourite to take the promotion place, while in Division E a victory for DocVanNostrand (Graeco-Bactrian) against previously unbeaten leader MarcoCato75 (Seleucid) has tightened things up a bit at the top. A lot now depends on the outcome of the MarcoCato75 versus Kroche (also Seleucid) match. A 4 point victory for MarcoCato75 would give him the promotion place. At the bottom bomber23 (Hannibal in Africa) must win his last match against Kroche to have any chance of avoiding relegation. In Division F sivispacem (Gallic) has moved up to third, but everything now rests on the ray552 (Galatian) v Jack-3kBattery (Seleucid) match.

Weekly round-up
Snugglebunnies (Jewish Revolt) is the new champion of Late Antiquity after completing an unbeaten season of matches in Division A. Nosy_Rat (Pictish) now needs 12 points from his last 4 matches to secure the runners-up position. At the bottom, both Triarii (Roman) and ConstantinIX (Byzantine) picked up points this week to leave batesmotel (German Horse Tribes) firmly rooted to the bottom. Another success for the Jewish Revolt army in Division B where Morbio just edged out MorkinTheFree (Romano-British) and dim30 (Roman) for the automatic promotion place. At the bottom a victory for IMC (Arab City) has eased his relegation worries a bit and lydianed (Palmyran) remains in the drop zone. A seventh straight win for Malabar26 (Byzantine) has put him in a very strong position in Division C and only snooky51 (Parthian) can catch him now. Their match together will probably decide the issue. In Division D Kerait (Moorish) has set a reasonable target of 26 points for the others to beat. carpenkm (Palmyran), Barrold713 (Ancient British) and sarmation (Sassanid) all still have mathematical chances of beating that total. At the bottom, the relegation is now between bomber23 (Dacian) and ggarynorman (Roman). In Division E gamercb (Scots-Irish) duly completed his first clean sweep with his ninth successive victory of the season. Delbruck (Arab Bedouin) should finish second, although Jack-3kBattery (Armenian) still has matches in hand. The wooden spoon situation is still wide open with LindsayCole (Pictish) currently in the bottom position.

A fairly quiet week all round in the Early Middle Ages section. 2 more wins for tyronec (Anglo-Saxon) has allowed him to close the gap on ericdoman1 (Irish) at the top of Division A to 6 points and he has 2 games in hand. harveylh (Andalusian) is just 3 points further back with 3 games left to play. At the bottom there are still 5 players involved in the relegation battle. Stew101 (Viking Ireland) duly completed his clean sweep in Division B and has achieved a rare 36 point maximum in the process. In Division C, Morat (French) has moved to within 2 points of the leader random27 (German) and has a game in hand. Blagrot (Arab Conquest) is close behind with matches in hand, while snooky51 (Rus) is in third place with 4 wins and only 1 defeat from 5 starts. A narrow defeat for klayeckles against Aetius39 has strengthened pantherboy's position at the top of Division A while 2 defeats for rexhurley against XLegione this week has left him as favourite to be relegated. A defeat for SpeedyCM in his ninth match against kraff has not prevented him from gaining promotion from Division B as other results went in his favour. It was a good week for lydianed whose 3 wins has left IMC as the player most likely to be relegated, although a win in his last match against edb1815 might still save him. In Division C a fourth defeat for lunecastle has left him in deep relegation trouble, while in Division D both carpenkm and sarmation have been picking up points to trail leader Spacemonkey76 by just 2 points with both players having a game in hand. bomber23 has been relegated. There is nothing to report from Division E which is almost completed.
