Are Legio Comitatensis shock troop ?

I just bought some DLC and discover that late romans don't have Impact foot any more a combination of spear, darts and bows which I understand is more efficient vs Cav.
However, are they still considered as shock troop, i.e. do they follow up losing units ?

According to Fog2 manual, there are not, but as far as I know there is no manual for the DLC describing new units/factions/rules if any (which is a shame btw).
I also check in the squad file but couldn't find the information.

Only Offensive Spears, Impact Foot, and Pikes pushback enemies.
