With the Italian right flank anchored by a 12 hex wide river, the Berbers attacked the center and managed to overcome the storm of missiles. Fortunately, nearly all of the remaining battlefield was open field or it would have been a different outcome. Good game.

On an open, full width battlefield the Tuareg camelry could do their thing despite heroic resistance from the Italian boys who probably all had hangovers from watching their team win the Euro soccer finals.

On a rugged desert map, the Berbers fought a civil war. The staying power of the Murabit knights was probably the difference. Great game!

It was a lot closer than the score suggests and we only had 3 more turns to play when the Scots-Irish managed to break the Persian Cavalry to achieve victory. A challenging game that could have gone either way.
