Good game where Mongol cavalry initially got too close to a hill packed with X-Bows and Archers. But - like Tuaregs - another version of wack-a-mole as Mongol cavalry rallied at very different locations. Fortunately X-bows and Archers stood up the Mongol LC while the other, dispersed, Mongols were dealt with elsewhere.

French stacked the left flank and used a spears/bows mix to fend off the massed Frank horse on the right. But some tough fighting saw the French right flank almost completely evaporate in the face of determined enemy cavalry attacks, but the battle in the centre and on the left just saw the French over the line.
