I understand that Blemmye/Nobades will be included in the 'Lost Scrolls' army lists. Is there a publication date announced yet? Has anyone got a clue (the authors will of course have) as to the anticipated make up of this army list. Only asking as I am just about to start collecting/painting mine and would very much welcome a steer on proposed unit types and their general numbers.
Many thanks

Don't give (many of) your cavalry much armour. Most will be cheap and cheerful rather than high quality.walker75le wrote:I understand that Blemmye/Nobades will be included in the 'Lost Scrolls' army lists. Blemmye/Nobades
Thanks for the info on issue dates and mounted types. Must admit that I thought that the Blemmye/Nobades mounted would be better represented as unprotected cavalry and/or light horse with any armoured types being reserved for generals or cavalry unit command groups.
I want to do a 4th/5th C army to finish off my 'Enemies of Late Rome' collection and the lighter troop types would suit the 'raiding' tactics of this particular army during the period.
Can you give me any clues on the make up of the infantry. i.e. % of bowmen to spearmen and tribal light spear. Will there be any Camel mounted troop types allowed and/or any Nellies in the list?
Thanks once again

Lots and lots of LF or MF Unprotected bowmen.walker75le wrote:Can you give me any clues on the make up of the infantry. i.e. % of bowmen to spearmen and tribal light spear. Will there be any Camel mounted troop types allowed and/or any Nellies in the list?
A smaller (but substantial) number of Protected, Average MF with Light Spear, and/or Protected Poor MF Defensive Spear.
Up to 16 bases of camelry - rather poorly equipped.
No elephants
