Third rank support shooting with MF bow?

While a third rank of MF cannot normally shoot overhead with bow, the impact rules seem to limit support shooting from a third rank to foot with bow rather than to LF wtih bow. As an example, if a Nikephorian Byzantine skutatoi 8 stand unti is deployed with two ranks of HF Def. Spear backed by two ranks of MF bow, does the third rank of MF bow count for support fire in the impact phase? (I flip flop about this every time I read the support shooting rules for impact so figured it would be better to ask here.)

Yes a 3rd rank of bow can provide supporting fire at impact - MF vs any charger, LF vs mounted only.
