Weekly round-up
ericdoman1 (Irish) moved back to the top of Division A after a fourth win in 6 matches, but there are still a large group of potential challengers sitting a few points back including harveylh (Berber Morabit), tyronec (Ghibelline), ConstantinIX (Berber Almohad) and Snugglebunnies (Papal). Still very slow in Division B where Sennacherib (Granadine) has moved into second place with a third win from 4 starts. In Division C Warg1 (English) has finished on 24 points, which probably will not be enough to hold off both the challenges of kraff (Sword Brethren) and Captainwaltersavage (German). No change in what has been a quiet week in Division D, while GraftMalt (German), CaptainPunka (Aragonese) and wmpryor (Castilian) all recorded wins in the battle for second place in Division E. Tratmot (German) is fifth and is still probably the best-placed player to challenge the leader Jack-3kBattery (Papal) being 9 points behind him but with 2 games in hand.

What a game. I thought I may have made a major mistake by allowing a reroll of the map (never again and nobody has done the same for me) which allowed Ian's camels and cavalry to have far more maneuvarability. To win it I finally got a rally at the end and a warrior unit did not autobreak even though it was on 115/230, must have been something like 115.5/230. Very well played Ian.

A very tough long drawn out affair with the Portugese Xb struggling to deprive Free Canton spearmen of the large piece of central rough ground and Portugese spears and dismounted knights finally making their way round it just before close of day. Good game and thanks to Karvon.

Triarii (German) defeats Aetius39 (Rus) 63-51

The Rus benefitted from hills with a large marsh blocking their right. Given the high proportion of archers it meant attacking them. It became a slugfest and I don't think I have seen a game with so many auto-breaks. This could have gone either way very easily - good game. Thanks to Aetius.

Triarrii (Romans with Bedouin) defeats Aetius39 (Kingdom of Soissons with Germanic Tribes) 47-12

A lot of marching back and forth until the good german warbands ended up faced off by mounted lancers while the Legions and allied Bedouin cavalry went round them. Thanks to Aetius for the game.
