snooky51 (Rus 960-1053 AD with Viking 900-1059 AD allies) defeats bomber23 (Byzantine 988-1041 AD) -- 66-50

Both armies were separated by a deep stream. Each commanded heights overlooking the stream, so naturally the Rus attempted to ford the river with their entire army. After being beaten back on both flanks, the Rus center achieved victory and routed the byzantine center, some Rus calvary were able to succeed in a wide flanking maneuver to help finish the job. It was all Byzantine until the last 3 turns, great game.
