Campaign: Fortress Europa Beta (Multi Choice)

Post by WookieeDavidson »

Howdy folks, thought since its the 78th Aniversary of D-Day, i would release another custom campaign based on the events of D-Day.

This campaign is based entirely on the combat chronicles of the events occuring during and after D-Day, June 6th 1944. You will have multiple choices on where you would like your chronicle to start.

So far because of time and covid restrictions lifting I have less and less time to complete the whole campaign, but for now until the next update i have finished the Canadian Combat Chronicle. But I have also made a start on the American Combat Chronicle. Below is a list of the current scenarios available.

Image

I would like to finish this campaign before the end of August, but currently my time is limited. So without further ado, welcome to Fortress Europa.

"Very Impressive Effort!!!":

Without even being fully-cognizant of what you are attempting to create and accomplish here, I can't help... but... be over-whelmed by such a tremendous undertaking by one lone individual!.

Please!... keep up the "great work!".

It would also very convenient and greatly appreciated… if all of the 'User-Made Forum Mods'... could all be accessed from an easy to find location. At some point in the future… I will be looking to purchase a new computer... that can much more easily handle PzC2... and at that point I would very much want to give some of these 'User-Mods'... a go at it!. So!... lets see if this will happen... if it hasn't already... i'm still in the dark on this matter.

There is a workshop on Steam for Panzer Corps 2 to easily download mods. Can this be added there?

Yes, includes buyable Canadian and Polish equipment such as Canadian M4s, Polish Cromwells, Sextons, Priests, Spitfires, Typhoons, 17 Pounders etc etc. As well as DD Shermans, which are not ready yet.

I'd rather upload here first as a sort of bug testing area, When the annoying kinks are out of the way and fixed i'll upload to Steam Workshop

The "Mod" appears as "Taman Warriors", not "Festung Europa."

Ok, for now try taking the Campaign folder out of the mod folder and place it with other the campaigns in the Documents folder

Howdy folks, been about a month since i uploaded the initial beta version of Fortress Europa, But an update is due.

The overall mission list has been updated, expanding the British Campaign, and adding in the forgotten invasion of France - Operation Dragoon. I will also be including the Alsace-Lorraine campaign and the Vosges Mountain campaign, but until I find more information and importantly maps of the area, they be placed on the shelf for the time being.

In the meantime here are 2 more teasers on the upcoming update for Fortress Europa, I am aiming to release said update before the end of the Month, but lets see if my schedule will let me.

This seems very interesting :)
On the campaign tree picture and for the Utah choice, there is at the end twice the St.Malo(not finished) mission (?)

Confirmed, Operation Dragoon splits, you can play as the Free French in the Battle for Toulon, Liberation of Marseille, Strasbourg and the Colmar Pocket, also seeing if its possible to recreate a Paris mission too

Night of Nights

Good mission but difficult, I managed to capture only one of the three objectives for my first try :(

Very good map but I was surprised that the capture of localities and objectives does not earn any prestige :o

Briefing : error in the end?

PS: I’d have to make a second attempt, but I’d rather cheat and move on to the next mission
