Division C
SawyerK (Lysimachid) defeated TomoeGozen (Achaemenid Persia) 61-49
After a seesaw battle that opened in favor of the Persians (all those arrows), swung to the Lysimachids (pikes, beautiful pikes), back to the Persians (flank cavalry attacks that led into other flank attacks) and then back to the Lysimachids (pikes again). The win came from an absolutely heroic stand by a Lysimachid elephant after being fragged while against two Immortals (one flank) and a massed archer unit.

Re: Any questions?
Hi I just at the moment have the base game and I am trying to find out which tournament I could join? Is there a list showing what is needed?
Obviously all places taken but I could go on backup list?
I am hoping there might be a steam sale to pick up some DLC content..

There are 6 sections of this tournament and you would need different DLC's to be able to enter any of them. For Classical Antiquity you would need the base game and the Immortal Fire DLC; for Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages you would need to have the base game, the Legions Triumphant DLC and the Age of Belisarius DLC; and for Biblical you need the base game, the Immortal Fire and the Rise of Persia DLC. So you can see that the Immortal Fire DLC is a good one to get, also Legions Triumphant and the Age of Belisarius DLC's. Obviously it depends a lot on your historical preferences. Let me know what you end up getting and I can add you to the reserve list.

doomben has been removed from the tournament . . .
doomben is the only player not to have opened his "Welcome" PM now. He has just entered Classical Antiquity Division E. I am going to wait until the end of the weekend to see if he appears. Does anybody know him at all? Maybe you have a friendly match with him in progress, or something?
